 Before the summer ends get your hands dirty with the kids playing these great outdoor games from Kaboose.com. Here’s our favorite:Dig for Buried Treasure:Start by finding trinkets in your house that you don’t mind losing. Then create a treasure-finding toolkit including:

•  a hand shovel (for digging up treasure)
• an old paintbrush (to clean off treasures)
• plastic baggie (to collect treasures)
• a map (showing kids where to start their search).

Bury the treasures somewhere in the yard or in a large bucket of dirt. Give the kids their toolkits, maps and then let them loose to find their treasures!
